why wood plastic composite

All natural wood from all natural trees is a fantastically versatile material, however when wood is mixed with plastic to create WPC we’re talking a whole new level of durability and beauty! What Is WPC? WPC (wood plastic composite) is made of….. you guessed it wood and plastic (plus various additives which hold the two together and give WPC it’s fantastic colour). How Is WPC made? Wood plastic composite is extremely flexible not only as a finished product, but even during manufacture! WPC can be made using various techniques such as extrusion, molding or injection molding. Depending on the intended use manufacturers of WPC are able to ‘fine tune’ the amount of recycled wood fibers or plastic used to change the characteristics of WPC. DURABILITY Once WPC has been manufactured it is ready for the worst the outside world has to throw at it! No paint, stains or varnishes are need to be applied, whats more WPC is: - Weather and shock resistant. - Resistant to parasites and insects. - Requires little to no maintenance. - Resistant against rot VERSTILE - Cladding - Decking. - Fence posts and stakes. - Banked areas. - Pedestrian railings and barriers. - Fencing. - Doors and door frames. - Windows and window frames. - Sheds. - Pool houses, summer houses, etc WPC has proven to be a reliable and environmentally friendly alternative to natural wood for the past decade especially in the field of outdoor and street furniture.
